| • The first
two days will address the role of attachment in the child's development,
the challenges of providing a reparative experience in the playroom, the
process of transference and counter- transference and its effects on the
outcome of the therapy. Participants will be encouraged to bring
challenging cases and will be given the opportunity to explore the part
their counter transference played through the use of: family
photographs, art therapy, sandplay, doll house play, story writing, etc.
• The next two days will be spent
considering the challenges of the issue of therapist self-care and
maintaining the integrity, enjoyment and enhancement of their work in
difficult times. This will be done through discussions, the use of
metaphors, visualizations, and a variety of expressive therapies:
art, sandplay, writing, sewing, storytelling etc. |
